The Armstrong Tatra ceiling tile is one of the bestselling products in the UK and has been for the last 30 years. The Tatra tile has a distinct basic fissured appearance and offers great value for money. This particular tile is classed as ‘directional fissured’ as the groves or flecks run in a particular direction across the ceiling title. In the 600 x 600mm tiles, these are designed to be alternated, whereas in the 1200 x 600mm version, the fissured pattern runs across the width of the ceiling tile.
The Armstrong Tatra ceiling tile is an ideal solution for offices, retail units and schools, where a reasonable level of performance is required but costs need to be kept to a minimum.
All the ceiling tiles within the Tatra range are 15mm thick and available in three different size and edge combinations, as detailed below. This product is also one of the few remaining ceiling tiles available in the old imperial size of 4ft by 2ft. These imperial tiles are unfortunately quite expensive, but do provide a solution to very old ceilings.
